Mango Iced Tea
1-quart cold water
1 whole mango, cut into cubes
1 cup of sugar
1 sprig of mint
8 Red Rose tea bags
2.5 quarts of cold water
Ice for glasses
Simmer the 1 cup of water, cubed mango, sugar and mint on medium heat for 10 minutes. Mash with a potato masher after 10 minutes. Add the tea bags and steep for 5 minutes. Remove tea bags, and STRAIN the mango and mint leaves from the warm liquid into a pitcher that can hold 3.5 quarts of liquid. Let cool. Add the remaining 2.5 quarts of cold water.
Place ice in glasses, pour mango iced tea over the ice and garnish with more mint if desired. Add a fun straw!
Oh, you could easily add 1oz. of vodka to this mango iced tea to spike it 🙂 Add a pretty straw and you are set!
