Lumberjack Baby Shower Ideas
Share
Recently I hosted one of my dear friends' baby shower, and since it was only a few weeks after Christmas, and winter, we went with a Lumberjack Baby Shower theme - complete with evergreen trees and rosemary! (Can I tell you how good that smelled!) Of course, there was LOTS of buffalo check in red and black. (For an alternate color idea, you can use ivory and black or green and black colors as well!) It's a great theme for a baby boy shower idea!

We started off with my signature Flannel & Fizz mocktails, (click here for the recipe!) which were a fun way to start our 11 am brunch. Mocktails are fun for baby showers - so the mom-to-be can participate. You can always add a splash of vodka to these for the 'drinking' guest!
Lots of snacks were set out on my kitchen table, with the drinks, so we could mingle while snacked (and I could keep flipping the pancakes for brunch!)

Since we were a mixed group of friends, who didn't all know each other before the event, I figured some games were a MUST.

We rewarded the winners with fun buffalo check bags, filled with prizes! Starbucks gift cards, snacks, and lumberjack confetti poppers from my shop were the prizes that day.
No party is complete without TONS for fun banners and decor. The OH BABY banner from my shop in gold sparkles was strung across a window in the dining room, where we all gathered to eat our brunch.

A fun table runner from my friend Maria over a 90West was the perfect way to dress the dining room table! Lots of wood disks and lumberjack confetti filled in around a lantern and some winter greens.
Layering elements on the table makes the decor warm and cozy.
And of course we had cake!
I had our local bakery create a gluten-free naked cake and drizzle chocolate over the top. I thought this was a great style of cake for a lumberjack baby shower theme - rustic and simple. I added some rosemary and a buffalo plaid cake topper from my shop. This cake was SOOOO delicious! It had whipped cream layers in between tons of mini layers of cake!
